Tryout Dates & Times – 2023/2024 Season

All athletes must pre-register if they are intending to tryout! Please fill out the form below.
Our Travel Program is for athletes entering grade 2-12. Grades 2-8 begin practices late November until May/April. High School athletes will begin their season after the school seasons. The cost for the season is $500 which includes 2 practices a week, provincial championships as well as games and tournaments. Games and tournaments do require travel outside of Chatham.

Once a player is selected to join the team, a Wildcat registration fee of approximately $500 is applicable. The registration fee covers required local Wildcat club and provincial OBA fees.

Other travel related costs to consider : mileage, hotel accommodations, food, etc.

Costs will vary depending on age group, number of tournaments entered, number of players per team and practice locations.

Uniforms
Once selected to join the team, players will be provided with Wildcat team jerseys and shorts. Uniforms are returned to the club at the completion of the season. A post date cheque is also required to cover any replacement of the assigned uniform provided to the player.

It is the responsibility of the player and parents to clean and care for the uniform; and to return it to the coach in the same condition it was in when it was assigned to the player.

Playing Time
OBA fair play rules apply for divisions Novice to Major Atom. Players receive approximately the same court time during games. This is done by rotating lines of players during the game, at 4 minute intervals. Games consist of eight – four minute periods with a half time break.
